Have you ever been part of a drum circle? I haven’t. I think I’d like it.

My fiancee and I were at a Pagan festival selling her books and the drum circle kicked up for about 40 minutes before closing ritual. I was mesmerized and loved the ease of the polyrythm going on with new drummers dropping and picking up the tempo or adding their own flavor. Much energy raised! I used to play a five piece drum set (horribly) and I had congas, bongos and a bodrahn which I was good at. I was forced to sell of it, unfortunately, but I would totally enjoy getting into a drum circle and playing sometime.
