Godzilla: Minus One is THE One

I’ve been a Godzilla fan for most of my life , so much I ran a 10K on #TeamGodzilla and THIS is the one, pun intended. Beautiful, terrifying and valorous, Godzilla: Minus One is the most poignant film in the entire canon and the best since the original.

An emotional, humanistic redux that inspires with a rising above the ashes tale seldom seen in any genre. Arigato, Toho, for sending us a Godzilla masterpiece and for holding it over a week.

  1. I’m looking forward to this one. I also need to find a way to see “Shin Godzilla” now that the Netflix discs are done. “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” on Apple TV+ is not an acceptable substitute, because it hasn’t got many kaiju in it and most of the human characters are unlikable idiots …

    • If you can get to a theater still carrying it, GO NOW!!! Toho held the movie over a week after only signing for one week’s release here. It’s done great business for a small run film and the reviews have been tremendous.

      Not a fan of “Shin.” It started great, looks great in spots, turns into a complete disaster later. IMO. I was told by a friend about “Monarch” and I do have the ability to get Apple TV with my plan. We’ll see.
