Very soon, I will be bringing you 11 more tales of terror with Bringing in the Creeps, and in one of those stories, I set out to honor the people and generation which raised and inspired me. Set in 1957, I conjure a Greaser Stew with bits of Rebel Without a Cause, The Wild One, American Graffiti and Stephen King’s Sometimes They Come Back. This was a highly emotional story for me to write as I treated it like my absolute duty to get it right. I came close to sobbing at my desk once I felt it was hopefully a winning formula.
