Willow Croft, who has quickly become a friend of our craft to me, invited me back for another sit-down chat, this time for her “Spooky Six” series at Horror Tree. As before with Willow, a total blast.

Fun read, my friend. You and I are more alike than you might realize.

Thanks, brother! I can already tell we walk many of same strange, wonderful, offbeat paths. 🙂 Sidebar, how’d you like the rest of Deadly Class? I’m waiting for the final trade to come out and can’t wait.

Waiting for it as my xmas present from the kiddos. Looking forward to see how they tie up the loose ends — I have my suspicions that it will end up very close to where it all started, but will have to wait a few more days to see. And, if it isn’t under the tree, I know what I’ll be buying on 12/25 😉

Oh wow. I found out it wasn’t in the cards for a present and bought volume 12. Dude.

I had to grab it with my week’s new pickups. Yeah, exactly, duuuuuuude!!! Saya!!! My favorite part is Marcus trying not sell out during the “punk” car commercial for his show. What a series.

I could relate to the car scene (sometimes I have felt the same, on a much smaller scale), but it was the end scene that resonated most with me.
I “knew” where the Saya thread was probably going to end up, although it was dressed up differently than I imagined.

Nice, man, nice. I have a lot of Daredevil trades, Star Wars “Brotherhood” by Mike Chen plus the new Stephen King and Richard Chizmar offerings to hit. Then the weekly offerings from the comic pull box and my future stepdaughter gave me a full 16 issue run of Detective Comics I never had for Christmas, but I will get my mits on 12 right away. Deadly Class is one of the all-time greats and can’t wait to see the finish.

Yeah, Saya’s outro was inevitable, but definitely not as part of an orgy, lol. Very satisfying conclusion. Poor Helmut. I think.
